Last week Mrs Annis took David, Chloe, Caoimhe and Jack to compete at Worcestershire cross country running event. They were representing South Worcestershire, having previously qualified for the event by competing against other Year 5 and Year 6 pupils in our area.

David finished 16th, Caoimhe 13th, Chloe 2nd (winning the silver medal) and Jack 7th. The top 8 in each category now go through to compete at national level, representing Worcestershire. Congratulations especially to Chloe and Jack. They will compete at nationals on March 25th.

This is a first for Holy Redeemer and we are very proud of all four children for qualifying for the regionals and very excited to have two of our pupils competing at nationals. Well done to the children for all the hard work that they have put into training for the event and particular thanks to Mrs Annis for training and motivating them. All those weekly, early morning runs on Abbey Park in the frost and rain really paid off!

Regional Cross Country Success!
