On Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th December, Key Stage 1 performed the nativity story ‘The Three Wise Men’. The play and music were written for them by Mr. Lister. It was a story which had the three wise men searching for the light which shone over the stable. At the end of the play we learn that although the wise men brought special gifts, it was the birth of Jesus which provided us all with the greatest gift of all.

Thank you to all the children for their enthusiasm and commitment and thanks also to all the staff, especially Mrs Sanders, who worked so hard to prepare the children and organise costumes. Thanks also to staff who sorted the lights, staging and produced the backdrop. The children really enjoyed performing, and it showed, with wonderful singing and fantastic acting! Thank you to all staff and parents who helped and supported the children; it was a great opportunity for them all and those of us who watched it thoroughly enjoyed it too!

Thanks to the PTA for providing mulled juice and mince pies.
